Sam was waiting at the bar down the street from the hospital Allison was working at. It wasn't late, but because of the time change it was already dark. He stood there under the awning, hands in his pockets and just waited.

Hoping that she showed up. Otherwise he would feel a bit like a fool. And Dean would totally make fun of him when he got back if she didn't show up. In fact, he was pretty sure the Impala would be parked across the street some time in the next hour with his brother watching with binoculars.

And of course, if he decided to have fun, then Dean would come in and find a way to embarrass his little brother.

God he hoped that wasn't going to happen.

She rolled her eyes at the clock in the ER, wishing this patient of hers would stop trying to struggle, she is only trying to help. Finally she is able to get a sedative and fixes her broken hand without a fuss, although it is dangerous to have a patient under, she would have broken the hand further is she didn't give it to her.

She takes her scrubs off and takes a shower in the locker room, not wanting to be all covered in blood when she goes to meet Sam. Once done she got dressed and quickly headed out, not wanting to keep him too long.

She sees him standing under the awning of the bar she chose, she smiles, he looks a little worried, maybe thinking she wasn't going to show up? She smiled again and walked over to him.

Sam had learned a long time ago when someone was looking at him. Which was happening now. He looked up, recognizing Allison from her icons on her journal, and smiled.

"Hey, Allison?"

he did want to make sure though.

She kept smiling when he looked up, he was a lot better looking in person.

"Yes?"

"Actually no." She actually hailed from Minnesota, she moved her about 6 years ago when House hired her. She rolled her eyes at that, she thought at first that House had actually thought she was intelligent and wasn't hired because of her looks, apparently she was wrong.

"Something you want to tell me, but you can't?"

OOC: You can still bring in Dean if you want, oh and HAI :)

"Oh, you just go for the hard ones right off the back." Their drinks arrived and Sam took a drink of his.

"Alright. I'd love to be able to tell you about my job, but I can't."

He smirked around the rim of his glass. She had phrased it in a way that he could make that his answer.

"Besides the whole helping save people, what's the other reason you decided to become a doctor?"

She grinned at him before she took a drink. "Those are the best questions though."

She is used to getting this question, so she knew the answer like the back of her hand. She took another drink and then answered.

"I do it because I wanted to prove to my family and everyone around me that I am more than just a pretty face, that I am actually really intelligent, but I do like help people, it is an advantage."

"Not a big fan of them, no" she grinned back.

She watched him ponder over the answer, the one he gave was worth the wait. She laughed.

"Oh that's terrible! Hopefully you did something in return for revenge? And I'm sorry about the prom thing." Even though she had nothing to do with it she still apologized.

"I've done lots of things in return. We tend to have prank wars every now and then. It relieves stress, and no one gets hurt... much."

It was his turn. "Tell me about your family, since you know about mine."

"Well I'm still sorry, and I bet some of the things you do back aren't that bad?"

"Well I have one brother, older, but not too much, he is two years older than me. I haven't seen him in a long time, seven years I think? Anyway as far as I know he is still back in Minnesota with my parents. He hasn't got married, that I would know about. Other than that my family is pretty boring, me and my brother were really close like you and Dean, but not since I went to med school."

"You'd be surprised with what you can live with. Okay..my turn. So, how long have you been doing...what you do?" She asked, as vaguely as possible, not wanting to bring up a bad topic or anything like that.

She reached for another chip when he did, she smiled and grabbed one.

"Well, it's a family business, so I kinda got involved when my dad started. I was about 6 months old. Actively, I'd say around six."

"That's quite the family business I assume, having you work already at six years old." She reached for a chip again when he did and they brushed fingers, she smiled and waited to grab a chip. Then took another drink while waiting for him to come up with another question.

She enjoyed learning about Sam, he was cute and very nice.

"Okay, and yes, I recommend those, they are good. I will probably get one of those too." She took another drink and snagged another chip, before getting the waitress's attention.

ooc: That would have been hilarious, I tell ya. That's good, oh I was a little sick today, but other than that, good.

The waitress came over and smiled and took their orders. Sam also got another drink for them.

"I'm going to be here for awhile. I think my brother is abandoning me tonight to fend for myself."

She thanked Sam for getting her yet another drink, he didn't need to, but she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

"Well that does sound like your brother, from what you have told me anyway."

She laughed too "No, totally my fault, should have figured that out. I think my favorite season would be Fall or Spring. Both very beautiful."

She was about to ask him another question when the waitress walked over with their food.

"What's your favorite food?"

He thanked the waitress and slid his plate closer. "I'm actually a burrito fan, much to my brother's dispair."

She smiled, she knew she was testing him, but she was just used to the naughty comments. But she appreciated him not saying anything.

"Dream date? Well...I don't know...somewhere romantic, a nice resteraunt, all the other cheesy stuff, I like it."

"You're a traditionalist then." Sam grinned. "I can see that."

Sam was the good brother. Dean was the bad brother.

She blushed and smiled, she wasn't exactly offering that, but she wasn't exactly against it. But she just wasn't much of a 'one-night fling' person anymore.

"Well...kinda" she didn't want to scare him away because she didn't want to just have sex and then leave.

He blushed, biting his lip. "Well, how about we just see what happens? No expectations?"

Subtle way to check for a boyfriend. Though he was pretty sure she wasn't taken if she was out with him now.

"Mmmm hot fudge sounds really good." She smiled back at him and took his arm.

"I'm a sucker for just old fashioned hot fudge sundaes. Nothing fancy, but they always taste great."

He let her lead them to a place to get ice cream, since obviously he had no idea where they were going. But he did take the time out to look at the neighborhood and see what was around.
