Sam was waiting at the bar down the street from the hospital Allison was working at. It wasn't late, but because of the time change it was already dark. He stood there under the awning, hands in his pockets and just waited.

Hoping that she showed up. Otherwise he would feel a bit like a fool. And Dean would totally make fun of him when he got back if she didn't show up. In fact, he was pretty sure the Impala would be parked across the street some time in the next hour with his brother watching with binoculars.

And of course, if he decided to have fun, then Dean would come in and find a way to embarrass his little brother.

God he hoped that wasn't going to happen.

She was almost surprised by the change of subject, but acted like nothing had changed.

"I have no idea. But I know it's your turn if you want to ask another question."

He wasn't going to let the unexpected walk around talk of sleeping together take away from their date. Hense the change.

"Well..I like all kinds of music, I really like soft rock, and I hate stuff like heavy metal and rap. What about you?"

"Well, I grew up on classic rock, but I like folk rock as well."

"Not bad choices, I just have to listen to classic rock all day." She rolled her eyes at this, House. He has to listen to atleast three songs a day, otherwise the day is not complete.

"My brother has 5 tapes he listens to over and over. I tried to show him what an Ipod was but he would have none of it."

"Oh I am so sorry..." She was laughing while she was saying, but she knew what it was like, so she really did feel bad.

"And he wonders why i got the IPod in the first place." Sam laughed, reaching for his burger.

"They are efficient, I still don't have one." She said taking a bite of her burger.

"Well, the holidays are coming. I'm sure you can ask for one from someone."

"I probably could, or I could just treat myself to one?"

"Well, you are a doctor. You probably have the funds to treat yourself now and then, right?"
