20 Questions... but not a drinking game... for istotallyhot

Sam was waiting at the bar down the street from the hospital Allison was working at. It wasn't late, but because of the time change it was already dark. He stood there under the awning, hands in his pockets and just waited.

Hoping that she showed up. Otherwise he would feel a bit like a fool. And Dean would totally make fun of him when he got back if she didn't show up. In fact, he was pretty sure the Impala would be parked across the street some time in the next hour with his brother watching with binoculars.

And of course, if he decided to have fun, then Dean would come in and find a way to embarrass his little brother.

God he hoped that wasn't going to happen.

She rolled her eyes at the clock in the ER, wishing this patient of hers would stop trying to struggle, she is only trying to help. Finally she is able to get a sedative and fixes her broken hand without a fuss, although it is dangerous to have a patient under, she would have broken the hand further is she didn't give it to her.

She takes her scrubs off and takes a shower in the locker room, not wanting to be all covered in blood when she goes to meet Sam. Once done she got dressed and quickly headed out, not wanting to keep him too long.

She sees him standing under the awning of the bar she chose, she smiles, he looks a little worried, maybe thinking she wasn't going to show up? She smiled again and walked over to him.

Sam had learned a long time ago when someone was looking at him. Which was happening now. He looked up, recognizing Allison from her icons on her journal, and smiled.

"Hey, Allison?"

he did want to make sure though.

She kept smiling when he looked up, he was a lot better looking in person.

"Yes?"

"I was beginning to get worried I was getting stood up. I guess the ER was a bit hectic." He held out his hand to shake.

"I would never, and yes it was a little bit, had to put a patient under to fix her hand, which we usually don't have to" she explained to him. She gripped his hand and shook gently, not wanting to give the wrong impression or idea.

"Shall we go inside then?" she asked with a smile.

She hoped that House wouldn't find out about this, because she would never hear the end of it.

ooc: suddenly has images of Dean and House sitting a few tables over doing a commentary...

"I take it she wasn't wanting the help then." Sam had an idea. Dean tended to not like hospitals either.

"And yeah, inside's a great idea. here, let me get that." He grabbed the door and opened it for her.

OOC: LOL! That would be so them, and it would be EPIC

"Not at all" she said rolling her eyes at the stupid girl. Man...she was really starting to sound like House.

"Thank you" she said when he held the door open for her, she wasn't really used to gentlemen. She didn't make herself sound too surprised though.

ooc: if House mun wants to, I know the Dean mun is watching ;)

There were a few booths and tables in the place, and Sam pointed towards a booth near the bar. Booths were easier on his long legs because he could turn sideways on his side.

"So do you have a specialty that you work in, or just general physician?"

OOC: Sorry I am still new here, mun? Also I have to go to bed :(

She followed to where he was pointing and sat down in the booth across from him.

"Well I used to work under Dr. House until I resigned. He is the head of Diagnostics, which basically means that whenever we have a hard case at the hospital and nobody can figure it out, we send it up to him. He usually saves them, he is very intelligent, and is very good at what he does. So I had to try to figure those problems out as well. But now I don't do that anymore, but I do help him from time to time." She hoped she wasn't saying too much, but he asked so she told.

ooc: it's ok! everyone has to be new at one point. mun = writer of the muse

"Well, I know if I get some random sickness, I'm coming to your hospital. If I can handle my brother, I'm sure I can handle Dr. House." He grinned, then ordered a drink when the waitress came over, giving the woman a credit card.

"Have whatever you want. It's on me."

Well, more like it's on Mr. Wilson's card, but who's counting?

OOC: Since I don't have a mun House, or they aren't on right now, you can bring in Dean lol, I don't have to go just yet, and thanks for being AWESOME :)

"Well I haven't met your brother so I wouldn't really know, but if you say so." She shrugged and smiled back at him, she was right about him, compared to House, he was truly an angel.

"Are you sure?" She didn't want to make him pay right away, but she wasn't going to be rude, she looked toward the waitress and ordered her normal alcoholic drink. She looked back toward Sam and started thinking of topics to talk about, but she wasn't too good at coming up with the correct one.

ooc: aww, thanks! and thank you for being Sam's friend! He needs more

"Hopefully we can keep it that way. My brother would end up saying a complete lie about me, then try and pick you up."

Which was what happened to his prom date...

"And I'm sure. I'm the one who suggested we go out, so it's only right."

OOC: Of course! Sam is made of awesome!

"Well I know a thing or two about lies, so I know when I am being lied to." She knew all to well, House would either be always lying to the team and everyone around him, or he would be so sarcastic you couldn't really tell.

"Okay" she said meekly, trying not to smile too much, she had a feeling that she was going to have a good night with Sam Winchester.

"So how shall we do these twenty questions? Back and forth, or just come up with 10 each and we both have to answer them?"

Sam enjoyed games like this. He was a nerd sometimes.

"I think the traditional back and forth works just fine for me. You can start." She grinned at him again, wondering which question he would ask first.

She has played 20 questions only a few times before, but it is fun to learn more about a person with just simple questions.

Sam licked his lips, thinking. Something easy.

"You always live in New Jersey?"

"Actually no." She actually hailed from Minnesota, she moved her about 6 years ago when House hired her. She rolled her eyes at that, she thought at first that House had actually thought she was intelligent and wasn't hired because of her looks, apparently she was wrong.

"Something you want to tell me, but you can't?"

OOC: You can still bring in Dean if you want, oh and HAI :)

"Oh, you just go for the hard ones right off the back." Their drinks arrived and Sam took a drink of his.

"Alright. I'd love to be able to tell you about my job, but I can't."

He smirked around the rim of his glass. She had phrased it in a way that he could make that his answer.

"Besides the whole helping save people, what's the other reason you decided to become a doctor?"

She grinned at him before she took a drink. "Those are the best questions though."

She is used to getting this question, so she knew the answer like the back of her hand. She took another drink and then answered.

"I do it because I wanted to prove to my family and everyone around me that I am more than just a pretty face, that I am actually really intelligent, but I do like help people, it is an advantage."

"Nice answer." He nodded. It was similar to his reason for why he left to try and become a lawyer.

"Your turn."

She nodded, right, she had almost forgot. She took another drink, thinking of another question.

"Are you and Dean close?" She was curious about this brother Sam kept mentioning.

"Yeah, pretty much. He's my older brother, and kinda got stuck raising me most of his life while our dad was working. Now we work together as partners cause we're just so used to being at each other's side. There are times though I'd still sell him to a circus for the right price though." Sam smiled.

She laughed, she knew exactly how he felt, although she wasn't a guy, she and her brother used to be really close like that. She sighed, sad that she hasn't seen her brother in a long time. He wasn't home for Halloween and the last time she saw him was about 7 years ago.

"It's always fun though, to have a brother like that." She tooke another small drink and then nodded toward him saying "Your turn."

"Thing you enjoy doing the most on your day off?"

She thought about it for a moment, she wasn't really sure, but she had an answer anyway.

"It used to be working out, I have a treadmill, so I used to just walk or run on that. But I think now, when I am not doing that, I like to just sit and read about not dying people. People who have good lives and are going to live, not die from a disease they didn't even know existed. That is my favorite part.." She took another drink and finished, then set the glass on the end of the table.

"Worst thing your brother has done?"
