It was the afternoon after Sam had spent the day with Nellie, and now he was waiting for Bobby to meet him for lunch.

He had been replying the events of the day before in his head, and he had come to a sad revelation: maybe Nellie was over her mother's death. Maybe she didn't need to talk, like he had felt she had to. Maybe... he was portraying his own issues through her and that's why he had been so adamant for her to talk to him.

He would apologize the next time he saw her. If he saw her. He was leaving that in her hands because he didn't want her to be uncomfortable.

But he might just be brooding while he leaned against the column in the hotel lobby, lost in thought.

"Uh-huh." Yeah, Sam, your brother was smarter than that. "Have fun 'relaxing'?"

"Shut up," Sam stated, but the hint of blush betrayed him.

And Sam was very thankful when Bobby reappeared. "So, tacos. Show the way." Might be a bit too eager to get out of there.

Bobby saw the blush and glanced between them with the distinct feeling he had missed something. He nodded. "This way," he said, making his way for the door and taking a right.

Dean just grinned at his brother, following Bobby's lead out of the tacos.

Bobby was probably better off not asking. Because then Sam would have to say out loud who he had spent the past day with. And then he would get glared at.

Thankfully the place wasn't that far away, and Sam ordered a mojito immediately.

Bobby slid into the booth across from Sam and ordered a simple beer, glancing around at the place with a nod. He approved so far. He was content to keep quiet and dig into the chips and salsa.

Dean ordered a beer as well, before raising an eyebrow at Sam's choice of drink. "A mojito?"

"What? Sorry if I feel like trying something different." He sipped the drink. "I'm still shocked that this idea of yours is actually working. I was skeptical that we'd actually get a real vacation out of this, but it's happening."

Bobby snorted at the mojito comment and shook his head. "More or less," he muttered.

Dean smirked. "What can I say -- occasionally I have a good one."

"Here I thought it was because you heard that the Girls Gone Wild team was staying down the beach from you."

Bobby's head popped up at that. "They are?"

"Really?" Dean perked up slightly at that too. Because either Sam was pulling his leg, or Dean really had to pay better attention.

He looked back and forth between the two of them. "Am I the only one who's actually taken time to walk around town and just look at the scenery?"

"If that's the scenery, I'm all in," Bobby nodded.

Dean just laughed. "I've been at that beach. That is the scenery."

And you wonder why Sam chose a drink with actual liquor in it.

"Why do I have a bad feeling I'm going to be bailing you two out of jail in the near future?"

Bobby rolled his eyes. "Like we'd get caught." Maybe Tijuana really was relaxing him.

"Exactly," Dean grinned. "I mean, c'mon Sammy -- you know us better than that."

"Yeah I do. But this is scaring me. Or scarring me. For life." Maybe he could change to tequila...

"You brought it up," Bobby reminded him, finishing off his beer and signaling for another. Damn he was thirsty.

"Bobby's got a point there, Sammy," Dean replied, before starting to poke at the chips and salsa."

Sam just shook his head. "So are we going to stay here through the holidays, or just for a week?"

Because Sam kinda wanted to let Nellie know how long she had him there in case she needed to talk to him. Or "talk".

Bobby looked between the boys and shrugged. "Depends if ya want a white Christmas or not. It's probably snowin' back up at the house." And he wasn't so sure he wanted to stay in Tijuana too long. He wasn't used to being on a "vacation" for that long.

Dean shrugged slightly before popping one of the chips in his mouth. "I say we stay down here until we can't stand it any more. I don't know about you, but I can live with relaxing for as long as possible."
