Hmm. Has there been a time when you regretted having pretended to be somebody, or having to pretend? Has there been a time when you absolutely didn't regret it?
I always regret having to pretend. I don't like lying to people usually. And sometimes I'm left to wonder if maybe I had told someone who I really was, if it would have kept them safer, maybe even saved their life.
And I still regret pretending to be a teddy bear doctor... just the images from that day no one ever has to live with...
As for not regretting it? Usually when I'm trying to hustle pool. But that's just because they are easy marks, and it's easy to pretend to be a drunk.
