What are you thinking about it now?

I'm thinking about what we should do. Making plans based off what you decide.

I'm...I'm sorry if I upset you. This really threw me.

It threw me too. And I probably could have taken the news better but I just... got a lot of things on my mind.

I don't know if I want it. You're right about what we do and how dangerous it is. Not to mention my own past.

But I don't see why we can't. We're both fully capable of raising a family and keeping our child safe.

So I just don't know.

I don't want this to be something we manage. If...well, maybe we need to think about it a bit longer.

Well, since I'm pretty much the boss, I think I can give myself some time off.

Well, that's good to know. We're about to move onto another job, but it should be done come Friday. I can tell you where we are and see if we can meet up somewhere?

Why do you think you're a freak?

Because I'm a 6'5" geek who travels along with his brother from city to city and lives in motels.

Not that I don't like to travel. I don't have a home outside of a car. Never did.

Just never had a normal life, that's all.

1. Sometimes. depends on the choice. But doesn't everyone usually have some choices they will always regret?

2. Stealing money from my brother when I was a kid. Mouthing off to people who didn't deserve it. Not telling Jess about who I really was. Using my powers again after I tried to stop.

3. To save my brother. I thought if I was able to kill Lilith, maybe I would have been able to save my brother.

4. I hate it.

5. No. I don't. I also don't think the war will ever end. Both sides need the other to exist. I do think we can at least help with keeping the good side fighting strong. The war will continue long after I die, though, so there's no way I can "win" anything.

Hmm. Has there been a time when you regretted having pretended to be somebody, or having to pretend? Has there been a time when you absolutely didn't regret it?

I always regret having to pretend. I don't like lying to people usually. And sometimes I'm left to wonder if maybe I had told someone who I really was, if it would have kept them safer, maybe even saved their life.

~~And I still regret pretending to be a teddy bear doctor... just the images from that day no one ever has to live with...~~

As for not regretting it? Usually when I'm trying to hustle pool. But that's just because they are easy marks, and it's easy to pretend to be a drunk.

Have the nightmares been getting any better?
