No. Because then he'd have to explain Slayers and he doesn't want to.
I think if he's going to go have this apple pie life, he wants the whole illusion. No demons, no spirits, no vamps ... nothing.
Not saying that he'd write Faith off completely, but he doesn't want her dragging the bad to his doorstep.
