Jo wasn't exactly sure what she was doing here. She hadn't spoken to Dean Winchester in years. Just stopping in to say "hi" and "how are you feeling" wasn't really something that made sense, but she was here at the hospital anyway.

She wasn't surprised to spot Cas lurking in the waiting room but besides a short nod in her direction he didn't really acknowledge her. She nodded in return and continued down to Dean's room only to find Sam standing outside of it.

There was no where to run, no where to hide so she swallowed and managed an awkward smile.

"Hey, Sam."
