He took a deep breath, and told her about what he really had been doing with Ruby. About what happened with him and Dean. Why he hadn't been in touch on his birthday. About their fight. About Lilith. Ruby. Lucifer.

By the time he was finished, he couldn't look at her, instead looking at the ground. He felt better in one way - he was trying not to hide things anymore and it felt good to air it out. However it also reminded him of how much of a puppet he had been his whole life, and how he had started the beginning of the end of the world.
