Sam helped Kale change into some new pajamas, then tucked the boy into bed. He put a hand on his son's shoulder and squeezed it before turning off the tv and lights. He pulled up a comfy chair by his laptop and stretched out, surfing the web until about an hour later he drifted off on his own too.
